The essential rules of proper writing style are laid down in the The Elements of Style by William Strunk Jr. and E. B. White. Among its teachings are rules about comma use, paragraph construction, and avoiding cliches. Not exactly topics you would expect to find covered in rap music, but you may think again after watching this video.
